The South East Europe Investment Committee

The SEE Investment Committee is a high-level coordination body composed of senior government officials and private sector representatives from the region, with a main aim to ensure effective and timely implementation of investment reforms through concrete programs and activities and to increase further investment and growth in the SEE region.
It was launched on April 2007 by the SEE parties and is close associated with other relevant regional initiatives/organizations including SEECP and CEFTA Secretariat.
The main responsibilities of the Committee are:

Developing guidelines how to implement policy reforms in priority areas identified in Investment Reform Index 2006;

Monitoring and implementation of Regional Framework for Investment
- It is envisaged to be an investment arm of RCC and linked to the issues of trade and investment stipulated in CEFTA 2006 Agreement.
It meets twice a year at deputy ministers’ level and once a year at the ministerial level.
