Under the Romanian SEECP chairmanship 2004-2005, a Ministerial Conference organized with the support of the Stability Pact will launch a major campaign in Bucharest on 18 May 2004. It is envisaged to adopt a joint statement outlining measures to be taken by participating states in order to combat organized crime and corruption with a regional approach. Special Coordinator Erhard Busek will participate at the conference, which is hosted by Romanian Prime Minister Adrian Nastase.
