The creation of an Internet forum and the establishment of a core group of interested donors to coordinate some of the ongoing reconciliation activities in Southeast Europe was the prelude to the upcoming workshop in Thessaloniki 3 – 6 April 2003.

The Workshop will gather up to 100 participants of all walks of society, including media representatives, NGOs, international organizations and governmental representation to establish a more complete picture of activities related to reconciliation. The target group and also the main implementers of the activities are youth and youth groups. The process is organized by the Thessaloniki based Centre for Democracy and Reconciliation in Southeast Europe and the Greek, Norwegian, Swedish and Canadian Governments as main sponsors. It is being held under the auspices of the Hellenic EU Presidency and the Stability Pact for SEE.
