On 11 march 2002, Special Co-ordinator Erhard Busek presents his Stability Pact Policy Outline for the year 2002 to the European General Affairs Council (Foreign Ministers).
The Special Co-ordinator will present his ideas regarding increased Southeast European regional ownership of the Stability Pact, including the relations of the Stability Pact with the South Eastern European Co-operation Process (SEECP). Equally, he will present his operational priorities for the year 2002.
The GAC requested the new Stability Pact Co-ordinator, on 19 November 2001, to present them his priorities, including achievables, and his new working methods by 11 March 2002, after consultations with all Stability Pact partners.
Media are invited to a press briefing by Special Co-ordinator Erhard Busek,
which will be the first time he addresses the Brussels media corps,
after having taken office on 1 January 2002.
