After taking office on 1 January 2002, the Special Co-ordinator of the Stability Pact Erhard Busek will, for the first time, address the OSCE Permanent Council on 21 march 2002. He will present the Permanent Council with his ideas regarding increased Southeast European regional ownership of the Stability Pact, including the relations of the Stability Pact with the South Eastern European Co-operation Process (SEECP). Equally, he will present his operational priorities for the year 2002.
Media are kindly invited to attend Mr Busek's presentation in the Permanent Council, which starts at 10.00 in the Hofburg (Neuer Saal).
Time permitting, Erhard Busek will be available to media for a briefing after he spoke at the Permanent Council.
The exact time will be determined by the proceedings of the Permanent Council.
