The last round of seminars in the framework of the Parliamentary Troika on the Stability Pact (European Parliament, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly) took place in Portorož, Slovenia, on 29-30 September 2007.
This time the event, which was organized under the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Chairmanship, took place in the framework of the Assembly’s Annual Fall Meetings and debated “ Security through Co-operation in South Eastern Europe: the Role of Parliamentarians”.
The Conference focused on:

a) Decentralization and Local Government in South East Europe;

b)Education as a Basis for Security: Knowing Your Neighbour; and
-
c) Regional Co-operation in Energy Security.
Moreover, the evolution of parliamentary cooperation frameworks in South Eastern Europe was discussed and agreed.
