Summary:

Balkan countries cannot wait for EU membership to become steadfastly engaged in reforms in the field of science and education. In order to keep up the pace with reform processes in EU member states as much as possible, they have to make science and education a national priority right now. In this way, they will become capable for a more ample use of EU programs, which are already at their disposal.

Having in mind that reform in the field of science and education is of key significance for EU integration of countries of Western Balkans, Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, Citizens' Pact for Southeast Europe and EXIT are organising a debate on the subject of students' mobility between EU and Western Balkans. The debate will take place during this year's EXIT festival, within the framework of the EXIT 007-Place to Move! Agora social program of the festival.

In addition to the debate, following interactive video-internet portals will also be presented: European Researcher’s Mobility Portal, European Network of Mobility Centers (ERA-MORE), as well as    the internet database of Postgraduate Scholarships and Grant Opportunities in Social Sciences , launched by the   Stability Pact for Southeast Europe. Other relevant institutions and organizations will be invited to participate in this event through the presentation of their initiatives and activities related with these topics. Students from Serbia (including Kosovo) and Bosnia, participating at the European Rails for Peace Project (The Glocal Forum and Viaggi e Liberta organization) will attend the debate.
